Paphos town is strongly connected to Greek mythology and its history. Paphos was the capital of Cyprus under the Ptolemy’s, successors of Alexander the Great & the Paphos harbour was a thriving port. Paphos remained the first city of Cyprus for more than seven centuries under Roman rule.
