The beautiful island of Cyprus has so much to offer, for those who enjoy a lazy holiday spent on the beach or by a pool, to the sporty, adventurous, those who enjoy discovering the historical sites and the cultural.   Cyprus has one of the oldest civilisations in the world dating back 10,000 years dring which time many cultures have ruled over the island. During the months of January to March skiing in the Troodos mountains is even possible, along side a little rain fall and up to six hours a day sunshine!!  Who could ask for more.

I will try to give a flavour of the passtimes that are available in the Paphos area to start with, although this will not by any means cover all possibilities available.
